Good food, interior, and lovely view. Tarts were so delicious! The fruits used to bake them were so fresh too. The price is quite reasonable for the quality you get. Owners are lovely too!

Very nice atmosphere and friendly. Good view of the mountains from the window. It was nice to have a little chat with the owner as I was the only eat-in customer when I visited there this morning (maybe most of the customers came for take out due to COVID-19). Most of the tarts were sold out although it was only around 11 o’clock as they are so popular. So it is advisable that you go there earlier. Only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am. Dogs are allowed at the outside seating in front of the café. The owners are animal-lovers. Parking is available too. Cash only.

When I pass from Ohara by car, I see here by chance. They have free car parking. But please enter to parking place from Kyoto side. It is diffucult to entry to parking area from ohara side by big car. Entry is a little narrow but big car can enter inside. You can sit and eat your orders in front of the green mountains scenery in the cafe. They have a lot kind of cheese cakes, chocolate, fruits cakes and pies etc. I order cheese cake. Tasty was really good. I felt that that use good product. My stomach is so sensitive. I felt good quality materials. They might be use butter and organic materials. I see that elegant people and families prefer here. Their coffee also was delicious. They use drip coffee and roasted in ohara. I order coffee 2 times. All my nerve cells was warned with caffeine and it is another reason of the my happiness. The cakes and coffee without sugar together is good balance. When I look the scenery of the mountain from my sitting place, I also felt happy. You can also sit otside under the wooden roof. They also has free electric plugs, you can also charge your phone and computer or you can sit and study here with your computers or book. Now I ask them they use organic materials, hokkaido butter and cheese. This shop open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Because this cafe only 1 lady chef, other days she is preparing to delicious cakes for you. Lady Chef and coffee maker are Japanese but they were so friendly like foreigner. This shop has WC. Please visit here and enjoy.
